LEPABE leads the COST Action Net4CleanAir
Posted on December 5th, 2024
The COST Action CA23139 - Network for Indoor Air Cleaning (Net4CleanAir) was officially launched on October 18th with its first Management Committee meeting at the COST Association headquarters in Brussels. Sofia Sousa, senior researcher at LEPABE, was elected Chair to lead this COST Action. Pedro Branco, junior researcher at LEPABE, was also elected to a leadership role as Science Communication Coordinator.
With a planned duration of four years, the main aim of Net4CleanAir is to create an international and interdisciplinary network of experts and stakeholders with a shared vision of promoting clean air for healthy and energy-efficient indoor environments. It will pave the way for progress beyond the state of the art, namely by contributing for future development of standards and regulations, and decision-making systems for indoor air cleaning technologies.

ABERTURAS E COROS DE ÓPERA – SONS DA ‘LIBERDADE’
Posted on November 13th, 2024
ALiCE, in collaboration with the 3 R&D units, CEFT, LEPABE and LSRE-LCM, are sponsors of the Researchers’ Concert: ABERTURAS E COROS DE ÓPERA.
This concert will take place on November 20th, 2024, at FEUP’s auditorium (21:30 h) and is performed by the choir and orchestra of the Academia and City Opera (OAC). Access to the Auditorium is free.
"SONS DA LIBERDADE" seeks to express the freedom and its various declensions, through orchestral and choral-orchestral pieces that span much of the 19th century, the century of people's freedom. A reality that manifested itself in the form of struggles for independence, in the form of struggles for the granting of rights and freedoms or in the form of struggles for national unification.
